Elsin
Hiring where every applicant is verified as a real person, and the person hired is the one who applied.

Elsin is an applicant tracking system with verification built in. Candidates apply with one tap while Elsin scores the risk in the background. Shortlisted candidates verify once, in about a minute, and that check works at every employer on Elsin. Recruiters see one status per candidate. Companies on Greenhouse or Ashby can keep their system and get the verdict written back.

- When
- 2026
- Stack
- Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, Expo, WebAuthn, Stripe
The problem
Applying now costs nothing. Bots, stolen identities, and paid stand-ins apply at scale, and an AI agent can apply to a thousand roles.
The approach
Face images never leave the candidate’s device: the server gets a signed result and a salted hash of the document number. A flag sends a candidate to a person for review, never to an automatic rejection. Only hashes cross between employers, so a fake caught at one company is flagged at all of them.
Results
- Careers pages, pipeline, scheduling, and analytics in one platform
- An app that reads the passport chip and checks it is genuine
- No code path rejects a person automatically
