AP World History

Zakaria, in 2022, passed the AP World History exam with a 5. Consecutively, for both semesters, maintained over 100% as his final grade, finishing at 103%. On his AP World History Exam, he wrote an astonishing 9 page Document Based Question response.

AP Language & Literature

Zakaria attended college courses that hold the equivalent to the AP standard of AP English Language, as well as AP English Literature. He passed his English courses with an A. Additionally, Zakaria holds a substantial amount of writing experience in both the academic and business environments. He has applied his command of the English language in sociological and political courses, as well as in various publications and official documents.

AP United States History

Zakaria is presently taking the college equivalent of AP US History. He is on track to receive an A in the course. Consecutively, he also has a deep understanding and long-standing grasp of United States historical and political topics. He has successfully passed the college equivalent of AP US Government & Politics as well, which holds substantial relevance to U.S. history.

AP Government

Zakaria has successfully passed the college equivalent of AP US Government & Politics with an A+ in the course. He holds a deep understanding and grasp of not only national politics, but also state and international structures.

AP Sociology

Zakaria has successfully passed the college equivalent of AP Sociology with an A in the course. He is capable of teaching different social problems and philosophy, as well as different key perspectives on many modern issues.

Programming & CS

C++ | Beginner and IM

Zakaria attended numerous courses and created various projects using the programming language C++. He can cover primitive data-types, proper code formatting and styling, input and output data-files, classes, objects, inheritance and protected variables, namespace libraries, loops, loop nesting and switches, 1D/2D/3D Arrays, dynamic arrays, vectors, Booleans and conditionals, functions/methods, using system time, etc.

Java | Beginner and IM

Zakaria also attended numerous courses and created various projects using the programming language Java. He can cover primitive data-types, proper code formatting and styling, classes, inheritance and polymorphism, loop nesting and switches, object creation and custom data-types, loops, 1D/2D/3D Arrays, Booleans and conditionals, functions/methods, input/output files, etc.

Languages

Arabic | Beginner

Zakaria is a native speaker of the Egyptian dialect of Arabic. He can cover the Arabic alphabet, some grammatical aspects, vocabulary, simple words and phrases, as well as some pronunciation and speaking.

French | Beginner

Zakaria studied French for two years, along with one year independently. He can cover the French alphabet, grammar and conjugation, different vocabulary, past and present tenses, in addition to the articles and 3 types of verbs.

Mathematics

Grade 1-11

Zakaria is presently taking Calculus II in college and has completed both Pre-Calculus and Calculus. He is most comfortable with teaching mathematics up to Pre-Calculus.

Science

Grade 1-9

Zakaria has consistently received only A's in every science course from first grade until his graduation from high school and into college. He can help to teach earth and geological sciences, as well as environmental, in addition to up to high-school level of astronomy and biology

Public Speech & Communication

Beginner and IM

Zakaria has been participating in public speech and/or debate for over 4 years and counting. He has competed in dozens of debates and has given countless speeches ranging from impromptu to extemporaneous in topics ranging from politics, business, and finance, to philosophical and psychological topics. He has met and spoken with many people from all over the world and holds a deep experience in interacting with people.

Tutoring Policy

All tutoring adheres to the following pricing system:

$25 per hour - Online (Google Meet or Zoom)
$30 per hour - In-person (Individual's residence or a Library)

Payments can be done via Cash, PayPal, Zelle, or Venmo. If one is unsatisfied with the first tutoring session, it can be refunded within 24 hours. Sessions after that can not be refunded. In-person is restricted geographically to San Jose. Otherwise, please sign up for online sessions.
